Simply Jazz

A sensational mix of jazz standards

Simply Jazz was formed as a trio three years ago. They play mainly jazz standards in the styles of Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, and others.

The line up is as follows:

Ray Dinverno – Piano
Throughout his life, Ray has performed in numerous jazz ensembles across Europe. He has performed on national TV, and won various awards for his contribution to the jazz world. He has recorded over 30 albums, and has created a jazz piano course online, which has over 50,000 followers.

Peter Maxfield – Double bass
Peter has played worldwide. He has performed at the Royal Festival Hall, and Glastonbury. At one time was playing up to 300 gigs a year. He has recorded with many top stars on various albums. A remarkable bass player.

Tony Roach – Drums
Tony has run and played in various jazz set ups in East and West Sussex. When he moved to Dorset he created Simply Jazz, which performs in the West Country Area.
